Colours
I began with making a colour scheme to make sure I had a basic idea of how the design would look even if it only had a basic layout to begin with. This has taken a while to decide on (probably because I still haven’t actually decided on anything!) and changed several times. I have learnt from this indecisiveness that it will probably not have a definitive colour scheme until the project is finished. I settled initially on a few bright version of my favourite pastel colours.
Logo
A logo is something I used in my last portfolio project and it definitely made my branding stand out and show individualism so I decided to update my old logo. I looked into what fonts would be good for this by using the free fonts provider http://www.1001freefonts.com/ which provided a useful tool of being able to see what the logo font would look like using the exact letters. I eventually settled on “thong” after trying a few out. Photoshop enabled me to edit the letters of my initials to create a unique prototype.
